There is a new name and logo for children’s church. You are probably used to the Kidmo and Lil’ K names and logos. Well, I must admit that I kind of let that slide. We have used Kidmo and Lil’ K as curriculum for children’s church and so it was natural to refer to them by the name of the curriculum we were using. In reality though, we do not just use Kidmo in the elementary children’s church and we are looking at using other material along with Lil’ K for the preschool. Consequently, we need a name that is not connected to a specific curriculum or material. And so we are calling children’s church simply “Kidz Church”
This gives us more flexibility in what we do in children’s church and does not tie the time to a specific curriclum.
