Did you realize that the start of Awana is just over 1 month away??? The first night of Awana will be September 20th still at the South Hanover Y.
I am planning on mailing out registration forms this week to help me update records and plan for the upcoming Awana year. Please complete these and return them to me so we can properly plan for the start of the year. If your child is ready for a new handbook, either entering a new group, or having completed their handbook last year, we will work to get them their new handbook early so they will be ready to hit the ground running on the first night of Awana, but we need your registration form returned first.
I will also be holding meetings for the various children’s ministries in August, so watch your e-mail and the bulletin for information.
Well, this week I am getting ready for the Extreme Challenge 2009 next week. We had a meeting about it Monday night and I am excited and looking forward to the week.
It has been a busy summer, but very rewarding with Truth Trek ’09, Extreme Challenge 2009 and planning for the fall.
