This Sunday during the elementary aged KidzChurch, we will be talking about Christmas and the history of the season. We are answering the question, “Why do they call it Christmas?”

Things we will be discussing this Sunday include:

  • why we celebrate Jesus’ birth on Dec. 25th
  • why it is called Christmas
  • the Christmas tree
  • Santa Claus (St. Nicholas – Kris Kringle)
  • and where ever the discussion leads from the children’s question/comments
